One has correctly said that friendship is the great gift as parents, relatives are all not our choice but you can chose whom to be friend with and they stay with you at every moment of your life so choose them wisely.

Every aspect of a human life evolves and so does one of the most basic forms of love, friendship. Friendship now is not the same as it used to be at the times of our ancestors , but the key aspects have changed the way we think or look at friendship and that's what is actually eerie . Recently pondering over a cup of coffee I had a few very vivid and exciting insights and thought of sharing the same.

Friendship now has its backbone somewhere in between social judgment and stature, once known for the purity of form it's now symbolic for something much narrower. The result for this is that it's becoming more and more delusional, heartbreaks in friendships are becoming more common everyday and that doesn't come as a surprise given the fact that they were not based on the correct foundation anyway. Next are the parameters we base our friendship on, I have often been told by my grandfather how his friends were honest good hearted people, that's it that's the parameters he cared about but nowadays, it's money, power, advantage and any prejudice that can nullify the values behind friendship. We have started defining friendship on the basis of time period, this is mostly to cover up for our lack of understanding and judgement, "we have seen more of him" is the common reply but the trust that needs to be embedded is now a liability that needs to be worked for, thus making friendship lose the luster it was originally made to hold. Lastly we are living in the era of social media, now this is the segment I won't delve deeper into because I am pretty sure you yourself are one of the victims of this pandemic that is preying on our social life (social media) …the one key takeaway though is that social media has made fancy and fake stand before reality and honesty thus taking a mental toll on fronts we least expect to be detained . It's as if pollutants are trying to erode the once strong pillars of  friendship and we are willingly watch the values burn.

It's shocking and bewildering to watch this take over the youth and plagiaries the purity of a concept but then again.. you have to have an end to find a new purer beginning, if this made you think or stop and introspect maybe you are a victim of this circus and it's just some time before you will be entertaining a crowd of strangers.
